Job Summary:
The Human Resource Generalist (UKG Payroll Focus) will assist the Human Resource Manager with complex and specialized administrative tasks including managing and overseeing payroll changes for the Holland location, generating reports, helping employees enroll in benefits and providing support to employees on a variety of tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, headcount tracker, and other key details.
Processes employee changes in timekeeping and payroll systems.
Reviews applications for entry-level and non-exempt positions; conducts and/or schedules preliminary interviews.
Performs administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include layoffs, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence.
Assists with the administration of all employee benefits. (Main point of contact for employees.)
Plans and supports company-wide meetings such as open enrollment, new hire orientation, and meetings to announce or discuss changes in retirement or benefits plans.
Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Prior Experience with UKG Pro and WFM preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business preferred or equivalent experience.
UKG Payroll experience strongly preferred.
Three years to five years of human resources experience preferred in a manufacturing environment.
SPHR or PHR certification preferred.
Bilingual candidate preferred.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
This is a first shift position but the candidate needs to be able to help support off shift employees, occasionally.
