Our small-family owned metal manufacturing client located on the south side of Holland has an opening for someone with CNC or Press experience.This company specializes in machining, stamping, welding, assembly and other metal related processes. They offer a wide range of metal-related processes, many of which are automated and improved by robotics and other technologies.
Operate Press according to the work instructions for the job specified.
Understand the company's policies, QMS, and standardized work.
Work to the company's goals, safety practices and deadlines.
Be a motivating asset to the team and encourage performance within the team.
Maintain high efficiency and strive to achieve and/or excel goals.
Understand all quality expectations and quality checks for job performed.
Perform quality checks at the specified intervals and document as required.
Follow all standardized work instructions.
Inform Quality/Management of any quality issues or concerns.
Communicate all machine issues to your supervisor.
Verify you clearly understand the objectives and goals.
Ensure all job paperwork is filled out completely and turned in to your supervisor at the end of your shift.
Ensure expectations are clearly understood.
Report down time on job sheet. Start time, reason, and end time.
Place all non-conforming parts into a 'Red' tote for disposition.
Record scrap on the job sheet. This includes all parts placed into 'Red' tote.
Reference job books during any downtime or press maintenance.
Press experience required, saw operating experience is a plus.
$18.90/hr (includes .90 shift premium)
Aptitudes Requises
Must have basic math skills, add and subtract to make sure proper number of pieces are made.
