Job description:
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, hands-on welding and fabrication experience, and the ability to support both production equipment and facility maintenance.
Responsibilities
Perform planned maintenance throughout the production area.
Troubleshoot and repair: Industrial gas-fired ovens and controls, Nordson powder coating equipment, Industrial gas-fired washing equipment, Industrial propane hi-los, production support equipment.
Fabricate, weld, and repair part racks, carts, and production support equipment.
Perform general building and facilities maintenance.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Proven experience in maintenance roles, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical experience, and facilities maintenance practices.
Proficiency in using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and understand schematics related to electrical systems and machinery.
Welding and metal fabrication experience.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to work well under pressure.
