Our newest client located on the north side of Holland is seeking Order Pullers! This manufacturer provides quality product for organizing space in residential homes.
The Order Puller II position is responsible for pulling, assembling, and packaging all components of customer orders. Warehouse background, such as experience with inventory systems and hi-lo's, is a plus.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Meet required pick rate and productivity targets for all order‑pulling activities.
Complete all required quality checks in accordance with company standards.
Ensure all part numbers are picked accurately for customer orders.
Stack, pack, and package products neatly and securely using appropriate materials to minimize the risk of shipping damage.
Operate a Hi‑Lo (forklift) to transport product throughout warehouse locations and reduce walk time.
Demonstrate and uphold Company values in daily work and interactions.
Maintain a safe working environment and pose no direct threat to the health or safety of self, others, or property.
This includes avoiding any significant risk of substantial harm that cannot be eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level through reasonable accommodation.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance during scheduled work hours to successfully perform all essential job functions.
Overtime- Mandatory once trained. ( temps should not work OT until fully trained.) 10 hour days, 1st shift late end at 4:30pm and 3rd shift early start at 8:30pm.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
1+ years in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
Skills & Abilities:
Basic understanding of hand-held scanners and shipping paperwork
Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
Ability to follow directions and complete paperwork neatly
Basic math and reasoning skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs multiple times daily
Stand and walk for up to 12 hours (95% of work time)
Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and handle boards of varying sizes
Tolerate sawdust particles and low-to-medium noise levels
Work in a manufacturing environment with machinery and moving parts
Ability to work overtime or occasional weekends with short notice
