Occupational Health & Safety Coordinator
Manufacturing Environment
  • Coordinated and maintained ongoing compliance with OSHA/MIOSHA, local, state, federal, and corporate health and safety regulations.
  • Conducted routine safety audits to identify unsafe work practices, conditions, and behaviors; implemented corrective actions to reduce incidents.
  • Lead accident investigations, prepared detailed reports, and implemented preventive measures to reduce recurrence.
  • Developed and implemented regulatory-required safety programs, including lockout/tagout procedures, job-specific safety instructions, and risk assessments.
  • Created and delivered safety training programs, OSHA compliance training, and employee awareness sessions across a three-shift operation.
  • Acted as secondary emergency coordinator, supporting emergency response planning, drills, and incident management.
  • Managed safety program documentation, records, and resources while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with information release policies.
