The Sanitation Crew Members will participate in the production processes and procedures according to company guidelines. The Sanitation Crew works along with the other team members to carry out individual job duties while promoting safety, product quality, and efficiency. Interested candidates must meet the following qualifications:
Adhere to client's Mission Statement
Ability to perform the job responsibilities, multi task, and demonstrate self-motivation
Dependable and have reliable transportation
Ability to work safely while ensuring quality of the product and efficient operation of the job/production process
Experience in the food industry preferred
Ability to perform the mental and physical demands of job, including lifting equipment and standing/working for long periods of time
Ability to communicate clearly
Ability to work in cold environment - 38 degrees
Job Requirements
Sanitation crew members must be able to perform the following job duties as the job demands:
Be able to follow instructions
Perform Lock Out Tag Out and follow all safety rules and policies
Be able to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed
Be able to work in hot and cold conditions
Climb and work from ladders or stands. You cannot be afraid of heights.
Bending and kneeling as needed to clean or inspect under equipment
Some bending and twisting, such as shoveling, or moving parts may be required
In general you will be required to be able to lift 50 pounds as far as working with parts / equipment. Lifting will vary depending upon the area and equipment
Some pushing and pulling to move parts, equipment, or perform jobs
Carrying items safely of 50 pounds or less, such as ladders
Be able to be on your feet the full shift
Good eyesight for inspection
Be able to work in a team environment, or by yourself
Be able to work in a timely and efficient manner
Be able to climb in and out of machinery
Be able to perform hand scrubbing on all items in your assigned area
Use proper hose control when foaming or rinsing
Be able to work overhead as cleaning and drying dictate
Felonies considered on a case by case basis, must pass pre-employment drug screen.
