This position is located on the north side of Holland at a packaging company. This is a physical demanding position that will require heavy lifting throughout the duration of the shift.
Perform assembly, operating, and disassembly of materials and components through various processes including both hand assembly and use of hand/power tools.
Follow workplace safety practices and procedures as designated on all equipment and processes.
Operate generally assembly and material handling equipment
Identify work materials, move and position parts at work station to accommodate efficient lean manufacturing assembly techniques. Requisition parts and supplies.
Assist in final quality inspection and palletize assembled units as needed.
Keep work station clean and organized, according to 5S standards.
Must demonstrate a willingness to participate in company cross training programs' flex into other departments and positions as needed.
Job Requirements
Must be available to work 10 - 12 hours daily
Criminal background required, however, some felonies older than 2 years can be considered
No cell-phone in building policy enforced
Must be able to read and write English being bilingual is a plus!
