Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle all communication with customers
-       Answer certain move up/mock up requests
-       Expedite requests
-       Confirm ship dates and special delivery requests
-       Respond to past due notices
-       Special product requests
-       Product specification assistance
-       Product availability
-       Early warning notifications to internal and external customers
-       Maintain customer contact files in a neat and orderly manner
-       Answer customer questions in established timeframe
-       Understand electronic information systems – customer websites, e-mail, etc.
  • Order Entry
-       Accurately enter new orders, revisions, specials and other customer requested products
-       Verify all orders entered
-       Prepare job packets with order ready sheet and customer information
-       Run end of day reports to check for OE & label creation accuracy
-       Maintain order entry files in a neat and orderly manner {or
-       Extract orders off server, internet, fax machine or email
-       Understand customer websites as needed in terms of extracting orders, logging information and receiving information
-       Proof orders
  • Provide back up to Production Assistant
-       Generation of labels both internal and external
-       Distributing job packets to the shop floor
-       Creating Thermoforming / CNC jobs
  • Assist the shipping department with processing shipments if necessary/applicable
  • Assist the accounting department with price reconciliation & misc invoicing
  • Assist with product returns (credits, reships, etc.), if necessary
  • Greet visitors
  • Answer phones
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Program
  • Consistently work in a safe manner
  • Maintain professional behavior and attitude
  • Other duties as assigned

 
Job Requirements

 

Physical Demands
  • Occasional bending and lifting and/or moving product weighing up to 15 pounds
  • This position requires a physical presence on Nuvar’s premises with a minimum of an eight-hour day for five days with some overtime

This position is performed primarily in an office setting but may require time spent in a manufacturing environment which contains dust and material particles in the air. The noise level in the work environment is low and may require the use of personal protective gear when in the manufacturing area.  These work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
